Join us for the trip of a lifetime on safari in Tanzania, Africa. We'll visit Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti Plains with our own personal English speaking guides who know the country and where to find the game. We'll be looking for the Big 5: elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, and cape buffalo as we follow the wildebeest migration. In addition, giraffe, ostrich, gazelle, cheetah, baboons, and more birds than you can imagine. And that’s just scratching the surface!

From the Savannah we now head to the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar! Snorkeling, Kayaking or decompressing from your African massage, it’s the perfect way to end your Tanzanian Adventure!

$9,900 includes flights to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania and back from JFK airport, all air taxes and fuel surcharges, all flights inside Tanzania, transfers between airports and accommodations in Tanzania, private transportation throughout the trip in comfortable and well equipped Land Rovers, all tours, all meals and entrance fees on safari on the itinerary below, and a pre departure meeting and orientation before we go.

DAY 1 - Friday, February 12th

Happy Sherpa Travel group arrives at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) ex KLM/DELTA

Meet and driven to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 - Saturday, February 13th

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park.

Visit Twiga Craft Brewery at Aim Mall en-route.

Continue with game drives and then drive to the lodge for lunch

After lunch, depart for afternoon game drives

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 3 - Sunday, February 14th

Morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire National Park.

DAY 4 - Monday, February 15th

Mto Wa Mbu, Karatu

After breakfast, late check-out. then drive to Mto wa Mbu for local lunch experience, then visit African Galleria for shopping.

After the shopping stop, then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arrival at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 - Tuesday, February 16th

Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority

Early breakfast, descend the crate floor for a full day crater tour with packed lunches.

Late in the afternoon, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6 - Wednesday, February 17th

Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Area)

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Area) with packed lunches.

Visit Oldupai George Museum en-route to Ndutu.

Game drives en-route to Ndutu.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 7 - Thursday, February 18th

Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Area)

Morning and afternoon game drives in Ndutu.

After breakfast, transfer to Ndutu Airstrip for Air Excel Charter flight departing from Ndutu Airstrip at 11h00 arriving at Arusha Airport at 11h40

For those heading home: After breakfast, transfer to Ndutu Airstrip for scheduled flight to Arusha Airport.

Transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch, and tour of Shanga Shanga Store

After breakfast, transfer to Ndutu Airstrip for Air Excel Charter flight departing from Ndutu Airstrip at 11h00 arriving at Arusha Airport at 11h40

For those going to Zanzibar: Upon landing in Arusha, connect with Air Excel flight to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, Zanzibar

Upon landing and clearing immigration, transfer to the hotel

Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 10 - Sunday February 21st

After Breakfast at the resort, the rest of the day is at leisure for the clients to take part in different activities at the beach.

After Breakfast, head to the historic Stone Town. After checking the hotel, depart for Stone Town Tour, wandering the cobblestone alleyways of Stone town, seeing the historic sites of Stone Town.

Lunch at Emerson Hurumzi, then walk back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 13 - Wednesday, February 24th

Zanzibar - Stone Town

After Breakfast at the lodge, you will have the morning to wander around Stone Town before being driven to Abeid Amani Karume for Precision Airways flight to Julius Nyerere International Airport, before connecting with KLM departure flight back home.
