For our fourth (!) edition of the Brewery Ardennes Beerventure we are doing a farmhouse tour of Flanders, a collaboration, and then beers at The Grand Place in Brussels! We are staying just outside of Brugge Old Town to catch the final weekend of Christkindlmarkt! From there, a return to the European Capital; Brussels! We are staying just outside of the Grand Place, where we will be having a beer hour at the Maison Des Brasseurs.

Included will be five or six brewery tours including Au Baron, Blaugies, others TBA, and a stop at In de Vrede, the restaurant home of Trappist brewery Westvleteren. Also Brewery Ardennes will be brewing their first European collab with Brasserie Thiriez and we will be visiting their home in Esquelbec, France that very day! Also a day trip to UNESCO Heritage City Ghent, and two days off to enjoy your own European adventure!

All of this hosted by Stacey and Derek Edinger coowners of Brewery Ardennes, our favorite craft brewery in the Finger Lakes!

With four-star accommodations, incredible breakfasts, walking tours of all the cities we visit, you are guaranteed a great time with fun and convivial group of fellow travelers.

Price includes a Private Bus taking us to and from Montreal (with a stop at Dieu du Ciel), round-trip airfare from Montreal or to and from Brussels, four star accommodations at the NH Brugge and NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg, great breakfasts, private motor coach transfers on Bustronomie, guided tours of all the breweries and walking tours of Brugge and Ghent! Don’t forget the pre-trip orientation at Brewery Ardennes in November!

DAY ONE - Friday January 2

We meet at 8:45 AM at Brewery Ardennes to catch a charter bus to Montreal with a stop at Dieu du Ciel for lunch before heading to the airport!

Nonstop Air Canada Flight from Montreal YUL to Brussels BRU leaving at 6:40 PM and arriving in Belgium at 7:55 AM the next day. (6 hour 15 minute flight)

DAY TWO - Saturday January 3

Arrive in Brussels at 7:55 AM where we catch a private Coach to Bruges. After dropping off our bags and grabbing breakfast, we will head out on a walking tour of the beautiful city of Bruges!

Later in the day we will have few beers at either De Halve Maan or Lady of Burgogne to discuss jet lag with each other. Night spent at NH Bruges.

DAY THREE - Sunday January 4

Breakfast at hotel. Today you can explore the wonder that is the “Adult Disneyland” of Bruges, or feel free to grab a car or train and visit Antwerp, Dunkirk, or even Amsterdam!

It’s a day on your own where you can take in what you like. Night spent at NH Brugge.

DAY FOUR - Monday January 5

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast we head to In de Vrede to have lunch and grab our Westvleteren 12, or 8, or Blonde! From there we head to Northern France and join Derek at Brasserie Thiriez as they finish up their collaboration! A true farmhouse experience with fantastic beer and better people.

Afterwards we head back to Brugge for dinner on our own. Night at NH Brugge.

DAY FIVE - Tuesday January 6

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning we take a short hop to Ghent! Starting out with a walking tour, you then have the day at your disposal to take in the sights and flavors.

At 5:00 pm we head back to Bruges for dinner, or feel free to have dinner in Ghent and catch a train back to Bruges. (The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station)

DAY SIX - Wednesday January 7

Breakfast at hotel. Pack your bags as we head to Brussels! But first we head back to France to visit farmhouse Brasserie Au Baron, and then a short hop to Brasserie Blaugies.

From there we head up to Brussels, where we will check-in and perhaps enjoy a beer or two before bed!

Night spent at NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg.

DAY SEVEN - Thursday January 8

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, we venture through Brussels to the renowned lambic producer Cantillion! After tasting their delights enjoy lunch in Brussels we will be meeting at Le Maison de Brasseurs (otherwise known as the Brewers Guild) at the Grand Place. We will have a guest speaker (TBA), and enjoy a delightful Belgian happy hour!

DAY EIGHT - Friday January 9th

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy the cosmopolitan delights of the European capital on your own! Museums, restaurants, and of course incredible beer options abound.

For the more adventurous; Paris and Koln are possible day trips via train. Just be sure to catch the second-last train back to Brussels!

DAY NINE - Saturday January 10

Breakfast at hotel. 10 AM flight back to Montreal YUL arriving at 12:45 PM.

From there, a chartered bus to Brewery Ardennes with a brewery stop somewhere in New York on our way back.

We should be back Brewery Ardennes by 6:45 pm.

We recommend your consider a Trip Insurance investment (usually about $230 per person) to provide for a return of your trip payment in the case of sickness, etc.

Price based on Double Occupancy, Single supplements are available for an additional $500.

Land-Only package available for $1,000 less than listed price.

After full payment, any potential for cancellation reimbursement is subject to the trip re-filling to its maximum 42 people per coach, and subject to change fees at the minimum.
