Flight AA1203 out of Buffalo on to Charlotte (CHA). Departs at 11:59am, arrives at 2:00pm.

Next up is flight AA0784 from Charlotte to Munich. Departs at 4:20pm, arrives at 7:10am local in Munich.

We arrive in Munich where our Coach awaits for a short hop to the worlds oldest brewery: Weihenstephaner. Beers and wurst for breakfast!

From there we head to Nuremberg where after we check in, we will head out on walking tour of the Old City before we have a tasting of the local specialty, Rotbier (Red beer) at Almosmueller.

Breakfast at hotel followed by a 10 AM Coach to Weißenohe for hike on Fünf-Seidla-Steig 

Hike the Franconian Alps! This is a great 10km/6 mile hike with 5 breweries/Bräustüberls along the way. Located in the Franconian Alps we walk through hop fields, cherry orchards and then into small Franconian villages. Grab a passport and get stamped at each beer garden, and after, you get a stein. Each one is a bit different than the other. 

Afterwords, head back to Nuremberg for a night on own. (NH Collection Nuremberg)

Day Trip to Bamberg

Today we head up to Bamberg, home of Rauchbier! Either we do a walking tour of Bamberg or a brewery tour of Sclenkerla. TBD

We’re off to the Bavarian capital Munich!

After we check our bags at the hotel, we’ll head out to see the sights, Marienplatz, English Garden, Hofbrauhaus Munich and more! Or visit old friends at BrewsLi!

Day on own Munich

Many things to do! Dachau, BMW Museum, multiple beer halls, and great shopping! Cuckoo Clocks, Lederhosen, Drindls, ceramic steins all available!

Afterwards you can check in with the rest of the day on your own!

Strap on your lederhosen; Today we head to the Famous Oktoberfest! We have Tables reserved in the Hofbrauhaus Tent at 11:30 for the afternoon session!

Back on the coach to head down to Austria! First we will stop at Brauhaus Schonrammer for lunch and possibly the best Pilsner in the world!

After lunch, it’s down to Mozart’s birthplace, Salzburg. Check in to the hotel and night on your own!

Early Coach ride to Berchestgaden! First stop: Kehlstein (Eagles Nest). Ascend the “golden elevator” to Hitler’s Eyrie and take in the stunning views of the German Alps, and maybe have a beer. Then we head down to Konigsee for a boat trip to St. Bartholomew’s or head up the gondola to the top of the Jennerbahn.

Night at Sheraton Grand Salzburg

In the morning, we will have a walking tour of Salzburg, perhaps one of prettiest cities in Europe.

Afterwards, the day is on your own to check out the restaurants, Fortress Hohensalzburg, or some of the best Biergarten’s in Europe! Brewers in the group will be heading to Augustiner. Last day and night to enjoy at your leisure!
